Michele's Birthday Pictures And Some Extras!

We had a nice Birthday with our daughter Michele. She requested her favorite meal Hot dogs and Sauerkraut , Mashed Potatoes, and Old Black Joe Cake of course not everyone likes Sauerkraut and some like Sauerkraut with pork so I made Sauerkraut with hot dogs, Sauerkraut made with pork, pork without the Sauerkraut, we also had applesauce salad I found on pioneer womens blog I changed some things to make it more fallish, mashed pot/gravy, green beans, corn , Sam's club new rolls they are delicious! I gave Isaac his first bite of sauerkraut and he made the funniest face and spit it out:) It was a fun day! I also have some pictures of the grandchildren in their new aprons that the Jowers and Arnolds gave me for my new craft room. My husband calls it the control tower because it is upstairs and has a huge window that I can see for miles:) When I get it all finish I will post some pictures.

I only had 36 candles needed one more but I don't think anyone noticed:)

THIS GUY IS A GENIUS! :)

I was just reading the news. This Guy comes up with the greatest ideas! Our wonderful President is proposing to allow us to take the option of instead of getting a tax refund back we can let them have it and get a US savings bond. That way it will take years to accumulate and we will be dead and then they can just keep it. Isn't this a great idea! I should have gone to Harvard I would be a lot smarter. Have a Great Weekend!

BABY SHOWER

Our church had a baby shower for Tonya Thursday evening. She got a lot of cute baby items. I would like to say a big THANK YOU! To Deanna, Janie,Sarah, and Michele(Bible Methodist):) for doing the Decorating,Food, Games, etc. It was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! The Beautiful Mad Hatter cake was done by Marrianne's Cakes
This cake is suppose to look lopsided. While Transporting it I thought I would never make it home in one piece but I did and after we had finished decorating and had everything set up I heard Deanna say Oh No! I came into the room and someone could not resist putting there finger in the cake. The only one around at the time was Isaac who was now sitting at the bar eating a yogurt being and angel. I said Isaac did you put your finger in the cake? He looked at me with his big blue eyes and held up his finger and said this one! I said yes that one and he said yea I did.

BACK FROM CAMP!

Well I am back from camp and all rested:) We had a wonderful camp! We heard wonderful messages and singing. We had a wonderful time in the kitchen . These ladies are the Best! We have such a good time . I had a young boy tell me that he loves camp. He said he waits all summer for camp. It is his favorite time! Whoever said that camps are not important don't believe a word they say. Below are a few pictures. Enjoy!

ANIMAL ALERT!

The famous roadkill lady went by the house. I was watching to see if she was going to pick up the dead skunk laying on the road but she did not. Is this discrimination? Just because an animal has a slight odor. I guess she is not going to save the buzzards from getting hit by a car. Interesting!
